The Long Haul

Jan-2025

Well, we’ve done it. Another album released! Warhammer 40k Originals. I’m pretty impressed at the amount of time and effort this one took… Literally, over a year. So many hours. So many revisions. So much insecurity!

I put my voice on a couple of these tracks and have never been more terrified. From an introduction sequence to orcs screaming insanity, we’ve gone outside of our comfort zone and started on new genres entirely. And it’s been quite thrilling, as well. It’s made me realize that maybe, just maybe, that I really do want to go into voice acting. Crazy premise.

With all this being said, the long haul is something that I’m still desperately trying to get the hang of. What are habits and patterns for 500, Alex? i.e, Something I don’t have. Or at least, the ones that I do have, are not preferable in my mind. It’s so frustrating! I truly am my worst enemy, in all the respects.

Thankfully, this also makes me my greatest ally. If I can recognize what is working, throw away what isn’t, it’s truly just a matter of time until things start moving. I mean, I guess they’re moving now. Slower than I’d expect, albeit, moving. I don’t have very well-defined goals in a lot of respects and even less tangible methods of getting there.

My next big objectives are pretty straightforward. Finalize and finish up the most recent DND album, Echoes of Adventure. Start working on and refining my existing campaign, stream, and all DND/RPG related elements. My ideal goal and dream is to start merchandising and monetizing my brand. I’ve already got all of my music out for purchase, however, I don’t think enough folks know about me as a producer.

Advertising is really what we’re looking towards this year as well. I’ve refined a bit of the website here this weekend, put up a couple of ads for my most recent YT songs (one of the DND ones that’s to be released here midyear!), and I’m trying really hard to stay consistent, albeit, even if it’s over very long periods of time. SEO is SEO, after all.

One day at a time, etc. Appreciate any and all attention paid to this site or words in the slightest. Please leave some feedback! We’re growing, after all. Guidance is never underappreciated. Finally, I shall leave you with some new music. I present to you, The Purple Worm
